Italian Community Services and BAIA (Business Association Italy America) join together to host a lively evening of networking and conversation about how Italian food and industry has evolved and continues to be a favorite in the Bay Area. This event is a follow up to our first joint event last year, where we explored the impact of Italian art and architecture in the Bay area. This year’s panel will focus on examples of the Italian food industry in the Bay Area, from various perspectives as well as current trends and impact.
This year, panelists will include:
- John Piccetti - John and his family owned Columbus Salami Inc. for over 20 years. He is also an author, co-writing a book on "salumi", and a wine producer, current owning a winery in Sonoma
- Franco Denari - CEO of Eataly, a distributor of high quality Italian food, wine, culture and history
- Al Cipollina - owner of U.S. Restaurant - a San Francisco tradition.
Tickets for this event are $25.00 per person. Seating is limited and available on a first come - first serve basis.
